Pharmacy
How does our pharmacy team work for you?
Each surgery has a GP pharmacist employed by the surgery but also a PCN pharmacist, both of these are able to help with medication queries. If you have a query regarding your medication, please call your GP practice and ask to speak to a pharmacist.
GP’s may refer you to a community pharmacist. Local pharmacists offer a wide range of services to help with your health concerns.
Helping you to live better.
If you have a minor ailment or allergy that you are already aware of, speak to your pharmacist, they can have you back onto the road to recovery straight away.
Pharmacy’s have private consulting rooms that you can use to discuss your concerns. Pharmacists deal with a wide range of health issues on a daily basis so never be anxious or concerned about speaking to them about a problem.
If you need to order a repeat prescription then you can use the NHS app or call your GP surgery, they can arrange for your medication to be prepared and available for collection at a convenient pharmacy for you.
How do I access the service?
Beccy is here to explain how to access the PCN pharmacy team and also give some very helpful advice to patients who are unsure on whether they need to contact a pharmacist or GP.

Using Antibiotics
Antibiotics can be superheroes against bacterial infections, but they're powerless against viruses. Remember, they're not the cure for that pesky cold or flu. Let's use these meds wisely to keep them effective when we truly need them. #antiobioticawareness #viralinfections
